ה-ET622 מזהה מתח PoE פעיל על זוגות כבלים ללא ניתוק ציוד, תכונת בטיחות קריטית בעת עבודה ברשתות חיות שבהן אובדן חשמל מעורר אזעקות והפרעות שירות. בודק כבלי הרשת של 400M שלו מאמת את כל שמונת המוליכים בסיומי RJ45 מול תקני TIA/EIA-568A ו-568B, מזהה ומציג באופן אוטומטי זוגות הפוכים, חוטים מוצלבים או מעגלים פתוחים. המולטימטר המשולב AC/DC מודד הן מתח PoE (בדרך כלל 48V) והן משיכה זרם כדי לוודא שפלט המזרק נמצא בגבולות בטוחים עבור ההתקן המחובר. פונקציית מעקב הכבלים משתמשת בצלילים קוליים ובמחוון LED כדי לעקוב אחר כבלים דרך חללי צינור וקיר, חיוני בהתקנות שיפוץ מחודשות בהן התיעוד המקורי אינו שלם. טכנולוגיית סוללת ליתיום מספקת זמן ריצה של יותר מ-30 שעות בין טעינות, ומבטלת עיכובים בהחלפת סוללה במהלך פרויקטי התקנה מרובי אתרים.
